NIHB Counselling

Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations and Inuit

We see NIHB clients to support them with mental health related and unrelated to inter-generational trauma.

We acknowledge that we reside on the traditional and ancestral territories of many Indigenous, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. Amiskwacîwâskahikan, or Edmonton, is situated in Treaty 6 territory. We value Indigenous people and Indigenous cultures and are committed to providing a safe space where they are heard, valued, respected, and celebrated.

WCB Counselling

We offer WCB counselling to support workers with improved mental health after physical and/or psychological injuries.

Low Cost Counselling

We offer low cost counselling by a sliding scale, a variable pricing model where costs are based on income levels.

Minimum counselling fees with a psychologist will be $150/session ($85 off) or $75/half session. But we know this is still a big cost!

Consider trying to claim counselling expenses through your taxes.
